AI visibility / Evidence
What evidence should an AI visibility platform let you inspect?
You should be able to inspect the question, complete answer, collection date and method, available cited URLs, outcome classification and unavailable checks. A summary score is useful only when you can understand the records behind it. Confirm access and export terms before choosing a platform; do not assume every vendor or plan includes the same rights.
Evaluation framework · illustrative workflow
01 / Compare the evidence
What to inspect before you decide.
| Evidence | Minimum useful detail | Review question |
|---|---|---|
| 01Question record | Exact wording, market, language and panel version. | Can we distinguish branded questions from discovery questions? |
| 02Answer record | Full response, date and collection surface. | Can we inspect more than a selected excerpt? |
| 03Outcome record | Mention, citation and recommendation classifications. | Can we see the rule and correct a misclassification? |
| 04Collection status | Valid, unavailable or incomplete with a reason where known. | Do missing checks remain visible? |
02 / Worked example
A record you can challenge
Illustrative example · no client resultStart with one reported recommendation. Follow it to the complete answer, the question and the cited source if present. If the source supports only a company description rather than the stated reason for recommending it, record that limitation. The exercise tests traceability, not just the presence of a download button.
03 / Put it into practice
A useful next step, with an owner.
- 01
Request one worked example
Ask for a shareable sample or a demonstration with non-private data.
- 02
Trace one conclusion
Follow the dashboard summary to the underlying answer and classification rule.
- 03
Confirm access terms
Agree who can access records, what can be exported and what happens when the relationship ends.
04 / Where Arrow fits
Evaluate us by
the same standard.
Arrow’s public method describes preserving questions, complete answers, source URLs and dates. Use the same standard when evaluating Arrow and confirm your actual access and delivery terms in writing.
Inspect Arrow’s published scope Published by Arrow AI about its own field and offer.05 / Common questions
The details behind the decision.
Is a CSV export enough?
Not if it contains only aggregate scores. Check whether it includes record identifiers and access to the underlying answer evidence.
Can private client data be used in a sales demo?
Ask for an authorized, anonymized or synthetic sample. Do not require disclosure of another customer’s confidential records.
Do we need the full answer?
The complete answer helps reveal caveats, context and other recommendations that an excerpt might omit.
Should unavailable checks be exported?
Yes, when evaluating collection completeness. They should remain distinguishable from valid non-mentions.
What should we confirm before paying?
Record access, export availability, retention, ownership and exit arrangements for the actual plan you are considering.
