Most AI visibility gains start with simple fixes: a clear one-sentence description, a strong About page, consistent profiles, visible prices and dated proof. Ship them this week.
What are the fastest ways to improve AI visibility?
Fix the things that make your brand hard to identify, describe or verify. Most of them take hours, not months, and none requires new technology. The ten fixes below are ordered roughly by effort. Do them in a week, then measure with the AI share of voice method.
Which fixes take less than an hour?
| # | Fix | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Write one sentence that says what you do and for whom | Gives AI a clear description to repeat |
| 2 | Put that sentence on your homepage, About page and profiles | Consistency across sources |
| 3 | Check robots.txt for AI search crawlers you want to allow | Pages must be reachable to be used |
| 4 | Update your Google Business Profile and LinkedIn page | Common sources for basic facts |
For fix 3, see which AI crawlers to allow.
Which fixes take a few hours?
| # | Fix | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | Rewrite your About page with founding date, team, location and offer | Strong identity source |
| 6 | Publish prices, starting prices or a pricing rule | Answers a top buyer question |
| 7 | Add a direct answer at the top of each service page | Easier to retrieve and quote |
| 8 | Add dates and names to case studies and reviews | Verifiable proof |
The About page guide gives a structure for fix 5. Pricing pages AI agents can read covers fix 6.
Which fixes take a day?
| # | Fix | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| 9 | Fix inconsistent facts in directories and listings | Removes contradictions |
| 10 | Publish one fair comparison page against your main alternative | Answers a high-intent question |
Contradictions are a frequent cause of wrong AI descriptions; see why directories show wrong business information. For fix 10, use how to build comparison pages.
What should you not do?
Do not publish dozens of thin pages targeting every variation of a question. It can dilute your site and does not create the independent confirmation AI systems look for; see why AI visibility drops after publishing too many pages. Do not invent statistics, reviews or awards. Do not hide key facts in images or PDFs only.
How do you know the fixes worked?
Take a baseline before you start: ten buyer questions, three runs each, in the assistants your buyers use. Repeat the same check a few weeks after the fixes and then monthly. Look for three changes: you are recognised on branded questions, your description is accurate, and you appear more often on unbranded category questions. Expect the first two to improve sooner than the third.
